Abstract
The TD50 for harmine in mebanazine-pretreated mice was not significantly different from that in untreated mice. Mebanazine (20 mg/kg s.c.) gave a 99% inhibition of brain monoamine oxidase without tremor. Thus harmine tremor is not related to its effect on brain monoamine oxidase.
